Not the most sexy sounding recipe but we promise you this might be one of the most delicious snacks in the whole world. Next time you're thinking of making pesto try this one.
Preheat the oven to 220ºC.
Chop the fresh herbs and mix with the flour. Add in the salt with the water and olive oil to make a dough.
Roll the dough out into a sheet about 2mm thick between two sheets of greaseproof paper to stop it sticking. Cut 5cm diameter circular biscuits out of the dough and place them onto a lined baking tray with a little space between them.
Brush a little water over the top of each biscuit and sprinkle your seeds of choice. Bake for 10 minutes, until just brown around the edges, then cool on a wire rack.
Chuck all the pesto ingredients into a food processor and blitz into a course paste, adding more olive oil if necessary.
Serve up and enjoy! Makes 20 crackers
