Recipe: Baked Bananas - 2 Ways
For the person who wants dessert, wants something healthy, is exceptionally hungry and has few ingredients on hand. This is one recipe to fulfill all that and more! Actually, it isn't much of a recipe, but a base for toppings to be mixed and matched on. Add sliced nuts or more fruit for extra flavor and texture, if wished.
- 1 tbsp cacao powder
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- 1 tbsp milk
- 1 banana
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 3 marshmallows, cut in quarters
Preheat oven to 180 c.
Wrap a banana in aluminum foil and bake for 15 mins.
Remove banana, slice in half and place marshmallows evenly on the surface.
Set oven to broil and broil for 1 min or less, when the marshmallows slightly .
Mix cacao and maple syrup. Drizzle over banana and add additional toppings, if desired.
