Recipe: Spicy Tea


This is the best tea to make when you want something sweet, spicy, light and refreshing. I usually have this without condensed milk, but you could add some in (or some regular milk if that's what you have on hand).


  • 5 cardamon pods
  • 1 small stick cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • sugar, to taste
  • 800 ml boiling water
  • 1 tsp ground tea

Step 1

Bring the boiling water and tea to a rapid boil, and then lower the heat to simmer. Crush the cardamon pods and add them into the tea and water mixture, along with the rest of the ingredients. Add in sugar to taste. Simmer for 2-3 minutes and serve hot.
